Step aside knuckleheads, and make way for the funniest cartoon collection ever! This crazy cacophony of chaotic clowning will have you howling in happy hysterics until your head spins! Featuring more pratfalls, more tomfoolery and certainly more spinach than you could ever hope for. Join Popeye, The 3 New Stooges and their outrageous pals in absolute, unbridled hilarity!

Popeye - Bride and Gloom - 1954 - 7 minutes - Another classic Popeye - Popeye is going to marry Olive Oyl tomorrow! Then both have nightmares about the pending union and get cold feet. What will happen to the couple - see for yourself! Popeye makes a rare film appearance wearing a suit in the wedding ceremony sequence. Popeye and Olive have two children in this episode (they appear in Olive's dream), the only theatrical cartoon in which Popeye is (or, at least, appears to be) married.

Popeye - A Haul in One - 1956 - 5 minutes, 40 seconds - Popeye and Bluto are partners in a moving company (Popeye and Bluto Movers). Their friendship quickly dissolves when they catch sight of their newest client, Olive Oyl. The two engage in a contest to see who can pack and move Olive's belongings most efficiently. One of the movers outclasses the other, is attacked by his disgruntled partner, but pulls out a victory thanks to a timely dose of spinach. Guess which one. A remake of the Max Fleischer Popeye cartoon, Let's Get Movin'.

Popeye - Ancient Fistory - 1953 - 7 minutes - A spoof of Cinderella. In Ye Olden Times, a ball is being held to find a suitable husband for Princess Olive. Bluto sets out to the party, leaving his abused servant, Popeye, behind to scrub the floors of Bluto's Beanery. Popeye's fairy godfather appears, whips up a suit of fancy clothes, turns a can of spinach into a muscle car and Popeye's clothing into a dashing outfit, and delivers the usual warning about everything changing back at midnight. At the ball, Bluto makes progress with Olive, but she is smitten with Popeye when he makes his entrance. Olive proposes an archery contest to win her hand, but it's inconclusive. They then resort to a duel, but Bluto, with his usual subtlety, blows Popeye away with a cannon. As Bluto chases Princess Olive around the palace ("Get thee away from me, ye brute!"), Popeye's car reverts to a can of spinach. He eats it, creates a horse and suit of armor out of nothing, and rescues the princess. Features a cameo by Poopdeck Pappy as Popeye's Fairy Godfather. The final appearance of Poopdeck Pappy, and the second of only two in a Famous Studios cartoon. New Popeye theme music and opening graphics probably began with this cartoon.

Popeye - Spree Lunch - 1957 - 7 minutes - Competing diner owners Popeye and Bluto stimulate the appetite of their first customer, Wimpy, to get him to lunch in their respective restaurants. As usual, Wimpy has to borrow money from them to eat. Guess who ends up eating all the profits of their tasty business. A color remake of Max Fleischer's We Aim To Please. Final appearance of J. Wellington Wimpy and Bluto in a theatrical cartoon.

In 1965, veteran movie comics, the Three Stooges starred in their own half-hour cartoon series. There were 39 episodes. Each show contained 4 cartoons with the stooges supplying their own voices. The team also filmed live-action wraparounds to accompany the cartoons. A total of 40 were done. The live action sequences allowed fans to see the team perform some of their classic routines in full color. The following 3 cartoons below are from this series:

The Three Stooges - Dinopoodi - 1965 - 6 minutes, 37 seconds

The Three Stooges - Safari So Good - 1965 - 5 minutes

The Three Stooges - There Auto Be A Law - 1965 - 3 minutes

Doggone Tired - 1949 - 7 minutes, 35 seconds - A rabbit overhears a hunter tell his dog that he'll have to get plenty of sleep if he wants to catch the rabbit in the morning. In the interests of self-preservation, the rabbit devotes his entire night to keeping the dog awake in a variety of creative ways.

Cheese Burglar - 1940 - 7 minutes - Herman the mouse hasn't eaten in 29 days - he's gotta do something, but the cat and the dog are guarding the fridge. Then Herman tells them cats and dogs are mortal enemies, so they can kill each other, and he can finally get some food.

Picture-Quality varies on the DVD as each film has experienced the ravages of time!!
