Four Episodes Plus a Bonus Cartoon on every DVD! Relax and enjoy this perfect holiday treat. Laugh as comedy legend George Burns receives the season with his generous sardonic wit, and howl as the cheerfully oblivious Beverly Hillbillies return home for the holidays. Rejoice in the uplifting sincerity displayed by two of TV's most-respected playwrights as they present poignant stories of the season. Your whole family will delight in watching these hilarious and heartfelt memories from TV's golden age.

The Beverly Hillbillies - Home for Christmas - 1962 - 26 minutes - Black & White - Season 1 - Episode 13 - Classic Christmas episode of the hugely popular television sitcom about a hillbilly family who struck oil and the big time. In Home for Christmas, the family decides to visit Pearl back home for the holidays - and they take their first ride on an airplane. Meanwhile, Pearl is trying to get Mr Brewster (the oil man) to propose to her. Highly recommended!

Four Star Playhouse - The Gift - 1953 - 26 minutes - Black & White - Season 2 - Episode 13 - A businessman becomes moody and antagonistic each year at Christmas because it reminds him of his estranged son, who chose to become a geologist instead of following in his father's footsteps.

Cavalcade Of America - Three Young Kings - 1956 - 26 minutes - Black & White - Season 5 - Episode 13 - As part of the Christmas festivities in a Latin-American village, youngster traditionally distribute gifts to other children whose parents purchased the presents. The gift-givers almost start a revolt one year by giving the gifts to the poor children instead.

George Burns & Gracie Allen Show - The Christmas Show - 1951 - 26 minutes - Black & White - Season 2 - Episode 7 - George and Gracie adapted their vaudeville stage routines to the small screen into an eight year series. As always, George had the dual role of on-screen narrator and straight man for Gracie's scatterbrained ideas. From their home in Beverly Hills, they interacted with neighbors and other passer-bys to create as much confusion as can be put into a half-hour show. No matter the escapade, George was unflappable. He would simply turn to the camera, cigar in hand and philosophize to the audience. In this episode George and Gracie's second Christmas show. Mamie Kelly and her children join the Burnses for the holidays. George dresses up like Santa for the children and Gracie tells the children the story of  A Christmas Carol.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - 1944 - 8 minutes 11 seconds - Color - Animated - Rudolph's playmates make fun of his glowing nose until Santa- finding it rough going on a foggy Christmas Eve -- visits Rudolph's house, gets a look at that luminous nose, and recruits him to lead his sleigh team. The first filmed version of this story, pre-dating the famous Rankin-Bass version by over 20 years.

Picture-Quality varies on the DVD as each film has experienced the ravages of time!!
