A tornado carries Dorothy
and her dog Toto to the faraway Land of Oz. There, she
learns that her only chance to get home is to see the
powerful Wizard of Oz, who lives in the distant Emerald
City. Dorothy is joined on her journey by a Scarecrow, a
Tin Woodsman, and a Cowardly Lion, who are also in need of
the Wizard's power. On arriving in the city, the new
friends are disappointed to find that they must first rid
Oz of the Wicked Witch of the West before their wishes
will be granted.
Margot Kidder narrates this delightful version of L. Frank
Baum's classic tale. The first in a four-part series.
